Aimco
AIMCO - LUXURY PROPERTY SITE
GOAL
Aimco is the parent company for many apartment and condo communities from affordable to high end. Their goal was to provide an elevated digital experience for their higher end tenants with luxury images and high impact content.
PROCESS
Seeing clients on site, designating a workshop day to figure out UX and visual design needs.
Touring high end properties to have full understanding of Aimco’s needs for their tenants. Conclusively, what high end meant to our client was concise visuals and simple branded patterns.
RESULT
Aimco also provided the challenge of wanting a luxurious template that could be used across many different locations. I built out a pattern library of modules for Aimco to colors, fonts, logos, and more across many different properties.
The designs resulted in also winning The Communicator Awards for websites in the General Real Estate category and in the Features category for visual appeal & aesthetic.
Post development research showed a 33% increase in Contact Us conversions, a 66% increase on Time on the page, and 101% increase in sessions per month.
Below is the final design for a property in Miami along with other explorations it took us to get to this result. Check out how Bay Parc came to life.
UX EXPLORATION
While visiting Aimco in Denver, Colorado, we did a 2 day workshop. We dug deep, had real, uncensored conversations to understand who the audience was. From defining our audience, we ideate, wireframe, conceptualize, design and delivered.
VISUAL DESIGN
Our UX workshops allowed us to understand who Aimco was appealing to. As lead designer for this role, I worked closely with Aimco and our UX team to build out and bring their vision to life. Below is a sample of a few key pages that not only come to life on a desktop but is beautifully responsive, as well. A booklet was provided to the client of over 30 pages designed, accompanied with a pattern library.
